Russian research ship aground in Arctic

Research ship MIKHAIL SOMOV ran aground at around 1830 UTC Jul 24 in waters of Franz Josef Land Archipelago, halfway between Komsomol island and Wilczek island, with 91 people on board. The ship delivered supplies to research stations in Russian Arctic. No hull breaches reported so far.
