Container ship struck pier, Madeira VIDEO

Container ship ILHA DA MADEIRA contacted pier while berthing at Canical port, Madeira, in the afternoon Jul 24, on arrival from Leixoes. The ship struck pier by stb bow, damaging mostly itself. Extent of ship’s damage unknown, either dents or probably, breaches too. As of Jul 26, the ship remained at Canical.
