CIMC Pacific Offshore Engineering and the German Hartmann Group have signed an order contract for 3 + 2 5000m3 dual-fuel full-pressure LPG carriers.

This series of ships uses MAN’s LPG dual-fuel main engine and is the world’s first dual-fuel full-pressure LPG carrier. The project was completed using virtual meetings through the online office conference system to protect the health of personnel during the current COVID19 pandemic.

Hartmann Group has a long cooperative relationship with CIMC Pacific Offshore. During the ten years that the companies have worked together, CIMC Pacific Offshore has delivered the Hartmann Group with the Gaschem Beluga, one of 2017’s top ten ships according to the Maritime Reporter & Engineering News.

CIMC Pacific Offshore Engineering is the world’s leading manufacturer of liquefied gas ships. Ships currently under construction include 7,500 and 20,000m3 LNG transportation and filling ships.
