The UK P&I Club will host the latest in a series of live training webinars aimed at both Members and the wider maritime industry. Taking place on Thursday 13th August at 9am BST (4pm Singapore), the webinar will provide expert insight and analysis on the practical aspects of passage planning and bridge resource management (BRM) claims.
The webinar follows the recent decision by the Court of Appeal in the “CMA CGM Libra” case, which highlights an urgent need for ship operators and ship staff team to revisit their procedures and arrangements for passage planning and bridge resource management.
Through the use of case studies and interactive participation, the webinar will discuss the current trends and gaps found in relation to such claims, and practical steps that can be taken on-board to improve the systems and increase safety.
The webinar will be moderated by Ansuman Ghosh, Director Risk Assessment, UK P&I Club, and feature Capt. Anuj Velankar, Senior Loss Prevention Advisor, UK P&I Club and Rachit Jain, Managing Director, Safe Lanes.
